The Taste of District 622 is held on November 7th from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Tartan High School’s Cafeteria. It is a cooperative venture between National Honor Society students from Tartan and North High Schools and the 622 Education Foundation, with the help of multiple businesses in our community.
Sample food and drinks from a large variety of our local restaurants and bid on your favorite silent auction items! Participating restaurants to date are: Applebee’s, Byerly’s, Caribou, Acapulco’s, Sgt. Pepper’s, TGI Friday’s, DeMori’s, Culver’s, CobornDelivers, Buffalo Wild Wings, The Tavern Grill, Brueggers, Green Mill, Sam’s Club, Shangri La #3, China Chef, Cub Foods, Subway, Rocco’s Pizza and Chili’s.
All proceeds will go to help the District 622 Education Foundation support the Angel Fund, which helps students in need of help for purchasing school supplies, basic needs and more, to the Innovative Grants and scholarships we support, and for recognizing the graduating top 10% of students at the STAARS Dinner in May.
