Your Donations Make the Difference!
Since the Award of Excellence was established in 2022, the 622 Education Foundation has been able to provide financial grants to a limited number of award recipients each year.
Donations from community members and businesses are vital to the 622 Education Foundation’s ability to support the Award of Excellence program. Local businesses, civic and community organizations, 622 staff and alumni are encouraged to consider a one-time or sustaining donation.

For businesses or organizations looking to maximize the impact of their support, an exclusive Award of Excellence Event Sponsorship opportunity is available. The Event Sponsorship helps offset the operational and administrative costs of the Award of Excellence event ceremonies held at Tartan High School on May 15, 2024 and North High School on May 22, 2024.

From STA2RS to a New Tradition of Excellence!
The 622 Education Foundation Award of Excellence was established in 2022 as a successor to the 622 Education Foundation’s STA2RS (Students and Teachers Achieving Academic Recognition and Success) award, and continues its commitment to recognizing and supporting student achievement. In 2023, nearly 80 graduating students were selected to receive the Award of Excellence.
