Amber M. Lewis

Amber has been working as an online ESL teacher for over three years and was a candidate for Oakdale City Council in 2020. She recently graduated with a master’s degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution, and has currently been volunteering as a facilitator.

Ambers primary goals are to live a life of balance and purpose. She as an amazing husband and five children, the two oldest currently attending Oakdale Elementary. Amber hopes to found a non-profit focused on helping community members from diverse backgrounds come together to solve local problems and build a shared community narrative.

She is excited about the 622 Education Fall 5k, because it seems like a great way to connect with the community, and enjoys running that distance.

Amber is passionate about finding ways to strengthen my community from the ground up. The education that comes through the public schools is so important to the students and families in our district. She believe in the 622 Education Foundation’s mission to serve those in our district, by honoring achievements and providing support to those who need it.

Amber enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and delicious food. Some of her hobbies include hiking, running, camping, baking, and discussing politics and religion, all of which are made much more exciting with her husband and five kids!
