For Joe, supporting the 622 Education Foundation is both personal and meaningful. He and his wife, Michelle, are raising three daughters in District 622 and are grateful to be part of a family legacy that spans four generations of North High School graduates. From his grandparents in the early 1930s, to his father in 1967, to Joe’s own graduation in 1995, education has long been an important part of his family’s story.

Joe also serves on the boards of the North St. Paul Historical Society and the Rotary Club of North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale. His connection to the Foundation goes back even further, as his parents, Jim and Mary, were active in helping establish the organization in 1996 through relationships built within the Rotary Club.

As a Foundation board member, Joe enjoys bringing people together, building partnerships, and finding ways for community organizations to support one another. He is honored to give back to the educators, staff, and schools that have played such an important role in his family’s lives and hopes to help create opportunities for generations of students to come.
